The Bonaldo Youniverse king size bed by Mauro Lipparini has a wonderfully wide, upholstered headboard with removable covers available in a wide range of fabrics and leathers.

Made in Italy, the designer Mauro has created an extremely comfortable and impressive bed with a huge, wide wrap-around upholstered headboard which is both soft to touch and soft to look at, with no visible hard edges. Fully removable covers can be selected in a wide variety of fabrics, leathers, ecoleathers from the Bonaldo collection, or even your own material. There are two kinds of bed slats to choose from either one piece slats or split slats.

The strong metal feet are painted in a matt finish in a range of colours. Other sizes of the Youniverse bed are also available and there is also a storage version of this bed which can be seen in the related products.

Colours & Finishes

Bonaldo's upholstered beds are available in an extensive choice of fabrics, ecoleather & leather colours & textures, including nubuk leather. It is usually possible to supply your own fabric too (subject to it's suitability for the design). We can also offer fabrics from Romo, or Missoni Home.

The feet/frame can be finished in a selection of beautiful lacquer colours or metal finishes. All finishes are shown in the above pdf - but please note that not all fabrics are available for all beds - available finishes will be shown in the product options.

Samples of all Bonaldo's fabrics and lacquers are available to see at our showroom, or we can send specific fabric samples to you on request.

All beds include UK legal fire retardant foam and fabric (a higher standard than European FR), for overseas orders please speak to a member of our team.

Assembly is included. We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Please Note: Bed slats are made as standard with a single, rigid mattress sized frame. If you have access restrictions (narrow stairs etc) please choose the split slats option, & contact our team if you are unsure.
