The Molteni & C Marteen sofa by Vincent van Duysen is part a multifunctional seating and storage system which offers infinite compositions - from a classic sofa to huge seating solutions for all kinds of living.

In Van Duysen's own words; “Marteen is much more than the sum of its parts; it is modularity that meets dynamism. Made up of upholstered seating modules, this new range can be offered in infinite arrangements - from single seats such as poufs, to the classic 2-seater or islands with 360° seating that become the centrepiece of the living area.”

To create your own sofa arrangement, you can choose from corner, central or chaise longue elements with low armrests and slightly higher seat backs. These can be combined with several different drawer or table modules which have an upper part in eucalyptus or thermo oak and a contrasting lower part in pewter matt lacquer.

The rectangular seat back cushions are selected to suit you and these can be placed at will to satisfy your seating requirements, guaranteeing comfort and allowing for different relaxation positions. Scatter cushions are not included but can be purchased separately.

With so many different options, some of which are shown, it is difficult to price them all here. Therefore, for ease we have priced Composition 1 which can be seen in the final two images in green and comprises of an end element with low armrest, an end element with drawer module and a small middle table element.

Colours & Finishes

Sofa covers in fabric or leather from the Molteni & C collection, or in customer’s own fabric, subject to approval of fabric type by Molteni. Scatter cushions are not included but can be purchased separately. Samples of all Molteni's fabrics and leathers are available to see at our showroom, or we can send specific fabric samples to you on request.

Drawer and table modules; upper part in either eucalyptus or thermo oak and lower part in matt pewter lacquer. The metal feet are in pewter.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.

For larger/very heavy items please check access/dimensions when you order, & let us know if there is a lift/stairs. If we have notice we can arrange an additional delivery team, or even a crane/hoist - both an extra cost, but will charge for deliveries not made due to access restrictions.
