The Saba Metis armchair by Nicola Pavan is part of a stunning and extremely comfortable modular seating collection which interprets the sofa as a changing and organic element.
The name Metis has distant origins: in Greek Mètis indicates a practical intelligence, one that allows for everyday problems to be solved skilfully, and in unconventional ways, adapting to different circumstances, with elasticity and ingenuity.
To create the Metis armchair a single seat element has a backrest and either one or two armrests attached by stylish metal hinges in either black or black nickel. These elegant hinges allow for maximum flexibility, a linear yet soft look enhanced by the precious quilting on the seat, backrest, and armrests. The small round scatter cushions are not included but can be purchased separately.
Fully removable covers can be selected in a huge variety of fabrics & leathers in a wide range of colours from the Saba collection, or you can even supply your own material, subject to approval.
