The Saba New York storage bed with gas powered lift up storage base is part of the extensive New York collection of modern beds, sofas and armchairs all designed by Sergio Bicego and made in Italy.

The lifting system for the storage bed has two movements, a 45 ° and a horizontal opening. In addition to allowing the convenient and quick access to the storage box with the first movement, it allows you to make the bed in perfect posture keeping the structure in a horizontal position and staying within the size of the bed.

The generously upholstered headboard, pictured here in midnight blue velvet, spills either side of the frame and continues seamlessly around the edge of the bed. Choose from a huge selection of beautiful fabrics & leathers in a vast array of colours, or you can supply your own material. For a suitable hand-made mattress click here.

There are three sizes to choose from. The king size bed is a few centimetres larger than a standard king size, giving you plenty of room to tuck in your bedding.

Care and Usage: All of our storage beds have been designed to make them easy to open and close, even when combined with the full weight of a mattress and bedding. To keep the pistons in proper working order, the recommended mattress weight for the design should not be exceeded, please Contact Us for further details.

Our deliveries are made during the week, in two hour time slots, and include any assembly required, as well as removal of all packaging. Please check your items carefully before packaging is taken away though, to ensure everything is in perfect condition.

We can also deliver to the UK Islands, and abroad to almost any country, and do so regularly. We also offer a delivery only service (without assembly or unpacking). Please contact us for a quote/more details.
