The Bonaldo Backdrop sideboard by Alain Gilles has a lightweight, elegant and discreet design, part of Italian brand Bonaldo's extensive contemporary furniture range.
Available in two sizes, the main characteristic of the Backdrop sideboard is the vertical cut of the doors, which evokes a sense of calm, thanks to its repetition along the entire length. The design of this piece of furniture is well-structured, drawing inspiration from the façades of the modernist buildings: the vertical lines hide the grooves used to open the doors.
The outer frame defining the sideboard is light and goes almost unnoticed, it is designed to discreetly and elegantly enhance the front elements.
Recently updated, there are now three different finishes to choose from for the outer frame and doors, firstly they can both be selected in Canaletto walnut, or there are two finish combinations either bronze lacquered wood outer frame with brushed bronze pantographed wood doors, or you can choose a lead lacquered wood outer frame with brushed lead pantographed wood doors. The plinth for all three finishes is in anthracite grey melamine. Internal shelves are in transparent glass, there is one shelf in the smaller size and two shelves in the larger size.
