Created by Bartoli Design the By Met dining chair from leading contemporary furniture brand Bonaldo is a slight variation on the 'By' chair as this chair has steel legs instead of wood.

Both this By Met chair and the original By chair feature a line in the middle of the backrest: a sign that becomes a refined sartorial detail, highlighting the exquisite craftsmanship creating a chair of great versatility which is suitable for the domestic environment as well as contract spaces.

For the upholstery you can choose from a wide range of fabrics, ecoleather (a very high quality faux leather that is quite difficult to tell apart from real leather), or Capri leather, a fine Italian leather. The 4 metal legs are available in several different metal and plus metal finishes. The original By chair can with solid ash wood legs can be seen in the related products.

Pictured here with the Octa dining table the By Met chair will also match many of Bonaldos other dining tables.

Colours & Finishes

Bonaldo's upholstered dining chairs are available in an extensive choice of fabrics, ecoleather & leather colours & textures, including nubuk leather. It is usually possible to supply your own fabric too (subject to it's suitability for the design). We can also offer fabrics from Romo, or Missoni Home.

The metal feet/frame can be finished in a selection of beautiful lacquer colours, or metal finishes. All finishes are shown in the above pdf - but please note that not all fabrics are available for all chairs - available finishes will be shown in the product options.

Samples of all Bonaldo's fabrics and lacquers are available to see at our showroom, or we can send specific fabric samples to you on request.

All chairs include UK legal fire retardant foam and fabric (a higher standard than European FR), for overseas orders please speak to a member of our team.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.
