The Bonaldo Magic coffee table in marble by Fabrice Berrux has a suspended design, in which the empty space between the legs and the top creates a particularly striking effect.
When designing this table Fabrice was inspired by a childhood memory of the well-known magician's illusion of passing a hand between two objects showing that that there was no link or connection between the two. That trick is re-created here in the Magic table as the space between the top and the base seems to indicate a lack of any point of support, it is as if the table top were levitating in a constant and perpetual state of suspension above the four legs.
Available in two sizes, the Magic coffee table has a metal frame in lead with a table top and legs made entirely of marble as seen and priced here, or it can have a glass or a marble table top with both the frame and legs in metal - see related products.
