The Bonaldo Optic bookcase is designed by Marco Zito for Bonaldo one of Italy's best known contemporary furniture brands.

As the name suggests, Optic plays with your perspective with its optical illusion effect, cleverly showcasing Bonaldo’s masterful manufacturing expertise.

Like in a dance, Optic’s two supporting frames perfectly slide to create a light system of staggered shelves: the shelves are wider in the middle to accommodate large objects, while the side shelves are lighter and cantilevered. Maximum capacity is 10kg per shelf.

The shifted frames give the bookcase a striking 3D effect and permit different configurations in the space: side by side on the wall, overlapping or in the centre of the room joined with an “L” arrangement as a partition within the room.

The frame is available in a range of different metal finishes or lacquer colours, with shelves to match. The main image shows two Optic bookcases side by side in a lead finish.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.

For larger/very heavy items please check access/dimensions when you order, & let us know if there is a lift/stairs. If we have notice we can arrange an additional delivery team, or even a crane/hoist - both an extra cost, but will charge for deliveries not made due to access restrictions.
