The Bonaldo Tara bed by Giuseppe Viganò has an upholstered base and headboard comprising of two padded fabric cushions encased in a Capri leather surround with bold leather feet in a matching leather.

The original concept for the Tara bed was based on a quest for essentiality and rigour: elements onto which a level of comfort has been grafted that combines minimal aesthetics with attention to the smallest details. The bed’s slender linear upholstered base with leather decorative piping draws attention to the soft and welcoming headboard with its matching leather surround.

For the covers you can choose from a range of fabric and ecoleather categories, or you can supply your own material, (or choose one of our options from Romo). The Capri leather for the headboard, decorative piping and feet is available in a wide selection of colours. Samples are available to view in our showroom and some fabric samples can be posted to you.

There are 4 bed sizes to choose from: king, Euro king, UK super king and US king with two kinds of bed slats available for each; one piece slats or split slats which are useful if you have access limitations.

Colours & Finishes

Bonaldo's upholstered beds are available in an extensive choice of fabrics, ecoleather & leather colours & textures, including nubuk leather. It is usually possible to supply your own fabric too (subject to its suitability for the design). We can also offer fabrics from Romo, or Missoni Home.

The feet are in Capri leather to match the headboard surround. All finishes are shown in the above pdf - but please note that not all fabrics are available for all beds - available finishes will be shown in the product options.

Samples of all Bonaldo's fabrics and lacquers are available to see at our showroom, or we can send specific fabric samples to you on request.

All beds include UK legal fire retardant foam and fabric (a higher standard than European FR), for overseas orders please speak to a member of our team.

Assembly is included. We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Please Note: Bed slats are made as standard with a single, rigid mattress sized frame. If you have access restrictions (narrow stairs etc) please contact our team if you are unsure.

For larger items please check access prior to delivery. If access is via a lift or stairs please check dimensions carefully. We cannot accept returns if access is not possible. We may need to add a delivery surcharge, for example where access takes longer than normal, requires more than 2 people, or where a crane/hoist is required.
