The Bonaldo Youniverse storage bed by Mauro Lipparini has a wonderfully wide, upholstered headboard with removable covers available in a wide range of fabrics and leathers.

Youniverse is a soft bed in all aspects, with a huge, upholstered headboard which wraps around the bed creating the same effect as a cocoon. The large storage base is easily opened by lifting the mattress with pistons hidden in the frame to reveal a cavernous dust proof compartment below.

The, just visible, metal feet are painted in a matt finish in a range of colours. The solid wooden frame is wrapped in deep comfortable foam with fully removable covers which can be selected in a huge range of fabrics, leathers or ecoleathers from the extensive Bonaldo collection, or you can supply your own material.

Available in king, Euro king, UK super king and US king sizes, there is also a non-storage version of the Youniverse bed which is listed as a separate product.

Colours & Finishes

Bonaldo's upholstered storage beds are available in an extensive choice of fabrics, ecoleather & leather colours & textures, including nubuk leather. It is usually possible to supply your own fabric too (subject to it's suitability for the design). We can also offer fabrics from Romo, or Missoni Home.

The feet/frame can be finished in a selection of beautiful lacquer colours or metal finishes. All finishes are shown in the above pdf - but please note that not all fabrics are available for all storage beds - available finishes will be shown in the product options.

Samples of all Bonaldo's fabrics and lacquers are available to see at our showroom, or we can send specific fabric samples to you on request.

All storage beds include UK legal fire retardant foam and fabric (a higher standard than European FR), for overseas orders please speak to a member of our team.

Care and Usage: All of our storage beds have been designed to make them easy to open and close, even when combined with the full weight of a mattress and bedding. To keep the pistons in proper working order, the recommended mattress weight for the design should not be exceeded, please Contact Us for further details.

Assembly is included. We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Please Note: Bed slats are made as standard with a single, rigid mattress sized frame. If you have access restrictions (narrow stairs etc) please choose the split slats option, & contact our team if you are unsure.
