The Bontempi Kimono dining table by Studio E-ggs is sculptural, volumetric, and symbolic with a design concept that celebrates simplicity.
The standout feature of this elegant table is its iconic shaped base that initiates an endless play of perspectives. Two elements, each bearing an identical rounded drop shape, intersect to create an unexpected effect, inspiring the name of the table. The metal base is available in a range of lacquer colours and finishes, including gold or glossy black.
This version of the Kimono table has a beautiful barrel shaped table top which can be selected in five sizes in a range of finishes. Firstly, you can choose from SuperMarble or SuperCeramic in several colours, both finishes are scratch-resistant, hard-wearing and extremely durable, excellent for families and entertaining.
You can also choose from two glass table top finishes. Firstly, Art Glass which is an extra white, highly resistant tempered glass with a stunning high-definition pattern digitally printed on the back of the crystal. Or you can select Fused Glass which has a slightly wavy finish giving the surface a handcrafted effect which is created by the surface being annealed in the oven at high temperatures and then back painted. The 250cm x 120cm table is also available in three wood veneer finishes.
