The Cattelan Italia Douglas sofa by Blus encompasses the harmony of a warm welcome and fine design, blending seamlessly into your home environment.
Available as standard fixed sofas, as seen here, Douglas is also a modular collection with over 30 elements which can be combined together, allowing you to express your artistic flair to the full, choose from linear configurations, ideal for a central room placement, or corner configurations, designed for moments of conviviality and relaxation.
Each sofa & element have a clean, linear structure which provides a pleasant contrast to the sinuous curves of the practical feather & fibre filled cushions. The seat, enhanced with an innovative polyurethane microfibre, guarantees lasting firmness & comfort, making Douglas a comfortable and luxurious sofa.
A useful feature is the option to choose from two different seat heights, either 43cm or 46cm. It is also possible to remove or reverse the armrests & backrests to change the look of your sofa, or module. The elegant feet are in titanium, bronze, or black embossed lacquered metal. Each sofa includes back cushions, however scatter cushions are not included, but can be purchased separately.
For the covers you can choose from a wide range of fabrics, soft leathers, or soft leather nabuk, or we can supply Romo, Missoni Home or Villanova fabrics, or you can use your own material or leather, subject to approval. Fabric covers are removable for easy cleaning. All Cattelan sofas are graded on a Soft/Firm scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the softest & 10 the firmest, the Douglas sofa is 2/10 on this scale, so it is at the softer end, providing deep enveloping comfort.
