The Carousel garden sofa by Sebastian Herkner for Italian brand Emu is part of the extensive Carousel collection which also includes dining chairs, lounge chairs, a footstool and coffee tables.
Available in one size, the Carousel sofa has a tubular aluminium frame with a wrap-around seat back woven in a thick twist rope weave. The seat is made from sheet aluminium alloy which is drawn to have an even shape and then fixed to the frame through a structural welding, performed with TIG technology that gives particular resistance as well as a better standard in terms of aesthetics. The rope used is double braided for extra strength with a synthetic core and a waterproof and UV resistant covering.
All of the materials in the Carousel collection are guaranteed for long-lasting resistance and colour stability making them perfect for all outdoor uses, especially in marine environments and in extreme weather conditions.
There are four different colour ways for the frame and weave to choose from: either a matt white frame with ivory weave, a brown frame with brown weave, a cement frame with grey weave or a dark blue frame with grey weave.
The optional seat cushions are covered in a range of garden suitable fabrics chosen for their ability to withstand the elements and suitable for use outdoors. You can also add extra scatter cushions for even greater comfort.
The Carousel collection also includes three styles of dining armchair and lounge chair as well as a footstool and square and rectangular coffee tables all of which can be seen in the related products.
