The Leolux Scylla armchair by Gerard Vollenbrock is inspired by the 'De Stijl' movement and incorporates a beautiful tubular frame that extends all the way to the back with sturdy upholstered armrests. It is the small details and the perfectionist finish that ensure that this design easily passes every test, even after many years.

Scylla's tubular metal frame carries the design, literally and figuratively as it runs around the seat back and features small 'mirrors' on the front of the armrest. Other details include the subtle indentation in the silhouette between the seat and back and the elegant shape of the chair offering the sitter a wealth of comfort.

There are two different choices for the seat filling, you can choose from a Soft or Firm filling depending on your personal requirements and the Scylla chair is also available with either a high or a low seat back.

For the upholstery you can choose from several categories of fabric or leather from the Leolux collection and different colours/materials can be chosen for the seat. backrest, side or armrest covers. Decorative flat seam stitching will be matching as standard, or contrasting for added personal customisation. The frame is in chrome plated steel, or you can select a lacquer colour or epoxy metal finish for a splash of luxury.

With so many different options for the upholstery and base for ease we have priced the Scylla chair with a low back and a standard frame in chrome plated steel in one colour of fabric category 1, prices for the other fabric and leather categories, as well as the different base or stitching finishes or colour combinations are available from our showroom team.

Colours & Finishes

Leolux armchairs are available in a huge choice of fabrics & leathers, including your own fabric - subject to its suitability for the design. We can also offer fabrics from Warwick, Romo, or Missoni Home.

The frame is in chrome plated steel as standard, or you can choose from a range of epoxy metal finishes. Samples of all materials can be seen in our showroom & some can be sent out on request.

All upholstery conforms strictly to UK fire safety regulations, for overseas orders please speak to a member of our team.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.

For larger/very heavy items please check access/dimensions when you order, & let us know if there is a lift/stairs. If we have notice we can arrange an additional delivery team, or even a crane/hoist - both an extra cost, but will charge for deliveries not made due to access restrictions.
