The Palinfrasca bookcase was designed by Fabio Fantolino for Italian brand Miniforms. There are three sizes to choose from with the lowest size being reminiscent of an open sideboard, whilst the taller sizes bring to mind a more traditional bookcase.
‘Di palo in frasca’ is a figurative expression in Italian that means to go off on a tangent, moving randomly from one topic to another. The dynamic and inventive nature of Palinfrasca is precisely what we like about it (hence the name).
Available with either two, three, four or five shelves, all of which have gently curved ends to create a soft look with matching rounded corners on the uprights supports. Flexible and practical, Palinfrasca is a not only a sideboard or bookcase, it also works as the perfect partition between spaces. Or it can be used more traditionally, against a wall for organising your home library or displaying your object d'art.
The frame can be lacquered in a stunning range of colours and the shelves can be selected to match the lacquer colour, or you can choose from a several wood options.
