The Plauto dining table by Paolo Cappello and Simone Sabatti is made in Italy by Miniforms.
Like the Roman playwright after which it is named, Plauto scans the past seeking ideas for the future. It does this by setting a single actor – wood – centre-stage, where it can perform in a whole repertoire of shapes: flat, curved, pointed. For connoisseurs, it's a production not to be missed; and for Miniforms it is a tribute to a material they love working with.
The table top is rectangular with rounded ends and is available in three sizes in several wood finishes: canaletto walnut, black ash, heat treated oak, or flamed oak; several colours of ceramic stone, which is an extremely hard-wearing finish; or two colours of beautiful Palladio marble. The leaf-cut legs are in the same wood finishes.
Pictured here with the Iola dining chair, the Plauto table will also match any of Miniforms other dining chairs, as well as their sideboards and accessories. An extra large Plauto Maxxxi table as well as the matching Monoplauto tables with one central leg are also available - see related products.
