The Mogg Shape round dining table by Uto Balmolral will add a strong look to any living space, the combination of a central perforated metal base and a wooden table top create an elegant aesthetic balance.
Designer Uto took his inspiration for the table from the Bauhaus movement of the early 20th century in particular some of the posters from that era which feature abstract, angular, and geometric designs.
Shape also references the simple shapes that children create when folding paper several times and then cutting it in sections so that when it is reopened geometric shapes appear in sequence or even little men holding hands to form a "circle round". The base of the Shape table was born with this same mechanism and poetic thought, trying to evoke, through the material used, that same lightness and simplicity
Available in two sizes there are several different finish options to choose from, firstly you can select gloss or matt lacquer in any of Moggs extensive range of colours.
Secondly, it is also possible to choose a hand spread materico finish (a textured, stone look material) in either white, black, grey, terracotta, or ivory. Any imperfections in the surface of this finish such as stains, porosities, marks or different shades of colour are to be attributed to the type of material and to the handcrafted production. They are not to be considered defects.
A matching Shape oval dining table is also available and can be seen in the related products.
