The Molteni& C Ovidio bed by Vincent van Duysen is designed to be the centrepiece of the bedroom combining sober elegance with the utmost comfort, where no detail is left to chance and the main feature is a stunning headboard with intricate stitching and a metal and leather frame.
The headboard, a synthesis of research and refinement, is available in any of the fabrics and leathers from the huge Molteni & C collection, or you can provide your own fabric subject to approval. A discreet smoked metal frame with rounded corners carefully defines the structure. The front part, where the profile is straight has a leather insert available in the same colour as the upholstery (tone-on-tone) or in contrasting shades, allowing for the choice of a bolder or more subdued aesthetic.
Ovidio is further enriched by "diamond" stitching that runs vertically throughout the headboard. The bed's attention to detail, including these hand-stitched vertical seams and the flat aluminium frame, make it a truly exceptional piece of furniture and a standout addition to any bedroom.
Available in two sizes; a Euro king and a super king. Bed base slats are included and made as standard in one large piece, however it is also possible to choose split slats where access is tight - see drop down menus.
