Dedicated to the essence of the brand, the Nani Marquina ethos is to combine traditional, hand crafted techniques & stunning raw materials, to create gorgeous contemporary rugs.
The Antique rug is inspired by an antique rug, it has been made using a weaving technique known as hand knotting sumak which is a huge amount of work. A thin braid is formed knot by knot, thus acquiring a distressed look & high quality result.
It is made using 100% hand-spun New Zealand wool with a density of 124.000 knots per meter squared and a height of 6mm. There are two sizes available and three colours, beige, khaki and red.
