The Flora collection of rugs from Nani Marquina is a collaboration full of colour and floral design from the hand of Barcelona artist, Santi Moix. There are three rugs in the Flora collection; Backyard (which is listed here), Promenade and Bloom which are listed as separate products.

Backyard is a literal representation of one of Moix's works, in which the original piece has been transferred as reliably as possible to a rug. Its name refers to the natural space behind a house, where the flora is wilder. Hence, it is a mural with a messier approach where flowers are presented on a spectacular scale. Its lines in low relief reflect the pencil sketches of the painting.

Made from 100% New Wool using a hand tufted technique which requires a pistol-like tool to punch the fibre strands into a previously stretched fabric in a frame. There are four further processes creating a beautifully soft and highly durable rug. The height of the wool pile is 10mm, with the overall height 14mm and the density is 56.000 knots per meter squared, giving the rug a super luxurious feel.

Available in four standard sizes, of which the smallest two sizes are currently in stock for delivery within 2-4 weeks. We can also arrange for custom sizes to be made to your exact specification.

Delivery of our rugs throughout the mainland UK is usually by specialist courier, although if you have ordered it with other furniture we may be able to deliver everything at the same time - please let us know if you would prefer that when ordering.

Please also check your item carefully before throwing away packaging - in the unlikely event of a fault we will need the packaging to return it to the manufacturer.
