The Novamobili Nido storage bed is made in Italy and has a pared-back elegant design with a wood or lacquer base matched with an extremely comfortable upholstered headboard.

The storage base is sealed so it is dust free and has a huge amount of space inside. The base lifts up in two ways, firstly it can be lifted to sit horizontally above the base making changing the sheets extremely easy. Secondly, it also lifts up from the headboard end for easy access to the storage area.

Perfect in both a modern or a more classic interior, Nido has mitred detailing on the corners of the base which match the linear design of the padded headboard consisting of two big cushions with refined stitching.

The base can be selected in two ecowood finishes or a wide range of matt lacquer colours. The headboard is padded and upholstered in a fabulous selection of fabrics, ecoleathers and leathers. Fabric covers are removable. All colours can be seen in our Sizes/Finishes tab, & we also have the samples in our London showroom.

Like many Italian beds, the Nido bed is only available in a Euro King, which is 10cm (just under 4 inches) wider than a UK King. We can provide a top quality hand-made mattress, click here to see our mattress collection.

Colours & Finishes

The base can be selected in two ecowood finishes or a wide range of matt lacquer colours. Legs are in black nickel, or you can choose from several matt, oxidised or metal lacquer finishes.

The upholstered headboard is available in fabrics, ecoleathers or leathers from Novamobili's collection, as well as in your own fabric, or one of our many fabrics from Romo/Villanova (subject to it's suitability).

Care and Usage: All of our storage beds have been designed to make them easy to open and close, even when combined with the full weight of a mattress and bedding. To keep the pistons in proper working order, the recommended mattress weight for the design should not be exceeded, please Contact Us for further details.

Assembly is included. We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Please Note: Bed slats are made as standard with a single, rigid mattress sized frame. If you have access restrictions (narrow stairs etc) please choose the split slats option, & contact our team if you are unsure.
