The Italian made Novamobili Sommier bed consists of a an upholstered base only, as it is designed to be used with a wall-mounted headboard (or with no headboard at all). It is possible to supply your own fabric (subject to it's suitability) if you would like to match a headboard panel & we can also supply fabrics from Romo (including easyclean fabrics) for the base & your design of headboard.
There are also a wide range of wall-mounted headboards from Novamobili to choose from in fabric or leather, as well as several wood finishes, or matt, gloss or oxidised lacquers, they can also incorporate drawers, hanging units or shelves. The upholstered base is available in fabrics, ecoleathers or leathers from Novamobili's collection. Fabric covers are removable, & spare covers are available too.
Like many Italian beds, the Sommier bed is only available in a Euro King, which is 10cm (just under 4 inches) wider than a UK King and a Super King size. Slats are included but the mattress is not. We can provide a top-quality hand-made mattress, click here to see our mattress collection.
The Sommier bed shown in the main image has a wall-mounted Space headboard in a rovere chiaro finish, other images show it with a Time headboard in rovere grigio finish and matching fabric panel.
