The Pianca Alfa bed is one of their classics, a versatile wooden bed, with a gently curved headboard, in a great choice of colours & finishes, & a slim frame. Made in Italy.
The Alfa bed can be made in several finishes, including Materico (a matt lacquer like Italian laminate), matt lacquer in a large range of colours, 6 wood finishes, or covered with hide leather. The base has small metal inserts near the headboard, & the foot of the bed, which can be coloured to match the bed, or ordered in several metallic finishes. Feet can be ordered in the same metallic finishes, or to match the bed.
Also available as a storage bed, (a separate product). The storage mechanism includes gas pistons under the slats to make lifting the mattress easy - even when the bed is made up.
The Alfa bed is available in king, Euro king and super king sizes. The king size is a few centimetres wider than a standard size, giving you room to tuck in your bedding. We can also provide a top quality hand-made mattress to fit exactly. To see our mattress collection please click here.
