Domenica Bed Upholstery & Finishes

This is the storage version of the Domenica bed with a fully upholstered base designed by Simone Bonanni for leading contemporary furniture brand Pianca. To access the storage space simply lift up the mattress to reveal a large dust proof compartment below.

There are two types of storage slats. The standard slats that lift up at one end only, or the Pratik sotorage slats which lift up the out to sit horizontally (shown here).

For the upholstery you can choose from several categories of fabric, ecoleather or leather from the Pianca collection, or you can supply your own material subject to approval. The exposed black zip, which runs all the way around the base & headboard is a key feature of the bed’s profile, transforming it from a functional element to a distinctive detail.

It is also possible to combine two different options for the inside and the outside of bed for a really luxurious look. If selecting this option the highest price category will apply.

Colours & Finishes

Upholstered in fabric, leather or ecoleather from the Pianca collection, or you can supply your own material subject to approval. It is also possible to combine two different options, if selecting this option the highest price category will apply.

Care and Usage: All of our storage beds have been designed to make them easy to open and close, even when combined with the full weight of a mattress and bedding. To keep the pistons in proper working order, the recommended mattress weight for the design should not be exceeded, please Contact Us for further details.

Assembly is included. We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

For larger/very heavy items please check access/dimensions when you order, & let us know if there is a lift/stairs. If we have notice we can arrange an additional delivery team, or even a crane/hoist - both an extra cost, but will charge for deliveries not made due to access restrictions.

Please Note: Bed slats are made as standard with a single, rigid mattress sized frame. If you have access restrictions (narrow stairs etc) please choose the split slats option for your base when you order as these can not be split on site.
