The Saba Metis corner sofa by Nicola Pavan has been created using elements from the elegant Metis modular collection of one and two seat elements which can be combined together to form any number of sofa arrangements.
The name Metis has distant origins: in Greek Mètis indicates a practical intelligence, one that allows for everyday problems to be solved skilfully, and in unconventional ways, adapting to different circumstances, with elasticity and ingenuity.
For the practical intuition behind the Metis sofa Saba have used stylish metal hinges in either black or black nickel as the visible element between the backrests. This application allows for maximum flexibility, a linear yet soft look enhanced by precious quilting on the seats, backrests, and armrests.
By simply using the basic one and two seat elements you can create any number of different seating compositions, including back-to-back arrangements, allowing for elegant aesthetic expressions for the home and contract environment.
Fully removable covers can be selected in a huge variety of fabrics & leathers in a wide range of colours from the Saba collection, or you can even supply your own material, subject to approval.
Seen and priced here is the large composition seen in the main image which comprises of several one and two seat elements as well as backrests and armrests and five back cushions. Extra scatter cushions are not included but can be purchased separately. A smaller Metis sofa and the matching armchair can be seen in the related products.
