The Saba Vela sofa by Zanellato/Bortotto takes its inspiration from the Italian for “sail” creating a sofa whose silhouette and precious details recall the elegance of a sail billowing in the wind.

The fabric upholstery subtly alludes to the mainsail and the jib, tracing stylistically defined imaginary trajectories. Whilst the sofa quilting details are a strong reference to the unfurled sail and the diagonals that cross it representing its distinctive element.

Available in three sofa sizes, the fully removable covers can be selected in a variety of fabrics in a wide range of colours from the Saba collection, or you can even supply your own material, subject to approval. The small round scatter cushions are not included but can be purchased separately.

Colours & Finishes

Saba offer an extensive collection of beautifully made chairs, armchairs, sofas and sofa beds. They have a wide range of fabrics, ecoleathers and leathers to choose from all of which can be seen in the attached PDF. Please note that some of these fabrics may not be suitable for the UK market; please contact a member of our team for further details. If ordering online, please specify your fabric/leather colour code in the order notes.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.

For larger/very heavy items please check access/dimensions when you order, & let us know if there is a lift/stairs. If we have notice we can arrange an additional delivery team, or even a crane/hoist - both an extra cost, but will charge for deliveries not made due to access restrictions.

International Deliveries

Our international logistics team are highly experienced, & we deliver to the UK Islands, Ireland, & to almost any other country. Prices are based on the exact destination, sizes & weight, so please Contact Us for the best price.
