The Sommier Major upholstered bed base from high end Italian brand Chaarme is 48cm high and is an easy solution for sleeping without frills. Designed to be used on its own or with a wall-mounted headboard, this bed is part of a collection of high quality beds made in Italy.
Covers are removable, & available in a huge range of fabrics, as well as several types of leather (including Nubuck), ecoleather (a high quality faux leather), or even covered in one of our many Romo fabrics (we have stain resistant options). It is also possible to use your own fabric (so you can match your headboard panel for example), or even to buy the fabric used on the base for covering your own panel.
This a tall bed, with the base standing at 48cm in height using 16cm feet which are concealed below the cover. The cover can be made to be tight fitting on the base or loose at the bottom as per the pictures. The images show the sommier major in a Tulum (Category D Fabric) colour 782.
Sizes priced here are UK King and Super King bases only. Other available sizes include single and small double, Euro King & US King. Slats are included but the mattress is not. Please note that bed slats are only supplied in one large piece, split slats are not available on this bed.
