Mogg Design were founded by architect Nicola Galbiati in April 2012, presenting their first collection at Salone del Mobile in Milan. The name Mogg is formed from two Italian words, MObili (furniture) & OGGetti (objects). Their fantastically quirky collection includes mirrors, umbrella stands and wall hooks as well as sideboards, seating, bookcases, wall units and tables - all original designs from both new talent and established furniture designers.
Definitely one to watch, Mogg's use of warm, natural materials like wood, combined with strong, graphic shapes make them unique. They are new to the UK, but in their native Italy, Mogg are gaining in popularity, having been featured in the Italian Elle Decor, Marie Claire and Interni as well as a number of influential Italian magazines and newspapers.
