The Marcel glass desk by Massimo Castagna for Italian brand Tonelli Design is a lovely combination of elegant glass and warm wood and would look stunning in any home office.
Available with a structure in extra clear glass (where much of the green tinge of normal glass has been removed), or in smoked glass with open fronted storage units in Eucalyptus, Siberian Ash or Natural Oak wood. The storage units have the option of adding a hinged door to the front, or you can choose a set of three wood drawers in a matching finish. It is also possible to add a Marcel counter-top mirror which has a polished chrome base.
There are three different styles of desk to choose from each with a different layout for the open glass elements. For example style H has one open glass shelf element on the left and includes one wood storage unit; G has open glass shelves on both sides with one larger and one smaller wood storage unit; and finally F (see main image) is similar to G but has an extra glass shelf unit and includes an extra vertical wood storage unit.
A Marcel dressing table is also available, as well as a slightly narrower version of the Marcel desk which is just 45cm deep and would look great as a console table - see related products.
