The Tonelli Design Pleat Fused Glass dining table by Massimo Castagna has a rectangular table top with lovely rounded corners in beautiful fused glass which can be selected in either a smoked or bronze finish. The table top is combined with a base in curved metal shaped like thin folded paper creating an elegant modern table perfect for any dining space.
Fusing glass is a highly skilled and complicated technique created by fusing coloured and clear glass together in a purpose-built kiln. The process originally dates back to the ancient Egyptians and pieces of fused glass have been discovered in the pyramids. Tonelli have perfected this skilled art to create two stunning finishes.
The clean contemporary lines of the table top create a striking contrast between the curved metal base which can be selected in metallic champagne, brushed titanium, or lacquered matt graphite black. Small adjustable feet and supporting pins for the top are in matt metal.
