The Twils Canalgrande bed by Matteo Ragni & Tiziano Carnieletto has a light elegant design with a beautifully shaped headboard with a taut look that reminds Twils founder Tiziano of the metal outline of a gondola.
A recent winner of a prestigious Archiproducts Design Award 2024 Canalgrande also features a stunning Canaletto walnut wood shelf which runs around the back of the bed and to both sides creating practical bedside tables.
Like many of Twils beds, Canalgrande is available with two different sized bed surrounds, one with a 15cm high bed surround that sits 18cm above the floor (detailed image) and the other with a deeper 25cm bed surround which sits just 12cm above the floor (main image). Both styles have elegant wooden legs in a Canaletto walnut or termocotto finish.
For the bed base slats which can be positioned at different heights there are a variety of options including standard or orthopaedic slats, adjustable head & foot slats, internal box sprung bases, as well as extremely practical storage bases - see related products for the Canalgrande storage bed.
Covers can be chosen in a huge variety of fabrics including cotton, crushed linen & high quality leathers enabling you to pick the perfect material for your interior style and colour scheme. It is also possible to supply your own material subject to approval or we can supply fabrics from Romo, Warwick or Missoni Home. Samples of all materials can be seen in our showroom & some can be sent out on request. Fabric covers are removable, whilst ecoleather & leather covers are not.
