Twils PoLet Armchair/Bed

The Twils PoLet armchair/bed is a design dreamt up by the genius Achille Castiglioni thirty years ago - it is both a chair and a bed in one. Or perhaps it would be more precise to say it is a throne, the soaring backrest makes it a delightfully ironic and functional piece of furniture.

Designed to open and close as intuitively as possible, just like a deck chair, PoLet is a mixture of the nomadic and the permanent, a bit like a camp bed but also a chair. This multifunctional piece was originally created for Castiglioni's seaside house and has a frame in matt black lacquered solid beech wood with elegant brass pins. 

The comfortable mattress/seat cushion can be selected in a variety of fabrics including cotton, crushed linen & high quality leathers enabling you to pick the perfect material for your interior style and colour scheme. Samples of all materials can be seen in our showroom & some can be sent out on request.
