The Vibieffe Altopiano corner sofa by Gianluigi Landoni is part of a modular sofa collection made in Italy by Vibieffe and has a tilting back, which using a special mechanism can be unfolded to create a high or low backrest.
Another standout feature of the Altopiano sofa is its customisable armrests which can be selected in three variants: with classic upholstered armrests; wing-like adjustable upholstered armrests; or with a Canaletto walnut wood container with a leather top in place of the armrest. This final option gives you useful storage space and provides a handy side table, perfect for lamps and drinks etc. You can even choose to have a combination of different armrests, for example. one padded arm and one storage box, whatever suits your needs.
For the covers there are a huge variety of fabrics and leathers available from the Vibieffe collection. In addition, you can also use your own fabric, or we can supply you with any of the Romo, Villa Nova or Kirkby fabrics. The frame is made from lacquered metal to provide a strong sturdy base and the feet are black varnished steel with chrome tips.
As Altopiano is part of a modular collection it is possible to combine multiple elements to create your own bespoke arrangement. And as mentioned above there are several different armrest options. With so many possible configurations for ease we have priced up the smallest corner sofa Composition 1 which is 274cm wide and comprises of 1 x sofa module and 1 x chair longue module both with standard 20cm wide armrests.
