The Bonaldo Globalove armchair by Karim Rashid was inspired by the idea of purity and the reduction of forms to the essential which ideally recall those of “Mother Earth”.
This unique chair stands out in particular for its comfortable and enveloping seat and a highly original profile. Resting on the ground, the seat takes on the configuration of a circular band, which incorporates the backrest and houses the cushion. Karim Rashid's design style also emerges in the combinations of covers which can be either contrasting and perfectly typical but also equally capable of integrating harmoniously with other furnishing elements.
There are lots of different choices for the upholstery, Bonaldo offer a huge range of fabrics and leathers with several categories of each and in a fantastic selection of colours. It is also possible to supply your own material, subject to approval. Samples are available to view in our showroom and some fabric samples can be posted to you.
To further customise your chair you can select to have two different colours of fabric or leather for the inner seat & cushion and the outer seat, as seen in the images.
