The Bontempi Atena bookcase by Pocci & Dondoli features alternating solids and voids, which endow it with dynamism and reflections in extravagant contrast to the rigor of squares and rectangles.
Aesthetically appealing Atena is available in one standard size either with or without a back panel. Bontempi then suggest that you combine multiple modules together to create any number of different compositions using a minimum of two modules.
Each module is made from lacquered metal in either dark brass or matt black, the back panel can be in a matching finish, or you can choose from a range of modern finishes; natural silver, gold, aged brass, rose gold or glossy black, or bronze mirrored glass, or several SuperMarble colours which feature veins and patterns similar to natural marble.
It is also possible to add a bookcase top in either black lacquered glass, or black anti-scratch velvet glass and to complete your bookcase you can add a base in dark brass or black. Please note that Bontempi suggest that this bookcase be fixed to a wall.
With so many sizes and finish variations, for ease we have priced two different options; firstly Composition No 1 which consists of two modules laying flat, side by side in matt black without a back panel, and secondly Composition No2 which is three modules standing upright in dark brass with a back panel in Calacatta Supreme SuperMarble, a top in black anti-scratch velvet glass and a base in dark brass.
