The Bogota pendant light by Massimiliano Raggi for Contardi Lighting has a fluid grace, it is almost as if an object has been thrown upwards and remains suspended. The name Bogotà is round and soft-sounding which Massimiliano feels perfectly represents this intriguing lamp.
The idea of lightness is expressed in the use of contemporary materials that fit any interior with decisiveness and elegance. A black lacquered wood oval frame encircles the light and when shaded by a Viennese straw diffuser has a vintage yet very modern flavour – a style that reminds us of Brazilian and South American modernist interiors of the 1960s and 70s.
Available in two sizes, it is also possible to choose this light with a diffuser in marble-print fabric which is more striking, but always distinctive and current, or you can choose a white cotton diffuser. Both sizes have a central ceiling rose and are suspended by four cables up to 200cm long, extra cable is available if required. Phase cut/Triac dimmable, other dimming systems available on request.
