The Eclisse pendant light or chandelier by Massimiliano Raggi for Contardi was inspired by a solar eclipse. Mimicking an eclipse, it plays with light, shadows and overlapping of elements.

Comprsing of three multi-sized rings, made of wood with a light and dark bronze finish, using a new technique of painting with metal powders – the effect is that of brushed bronze on metal. The main light is a dimmable LED light which is built in to the frame of the main ring and creates a shadowing effect reminiscent of an Eclipse, or in Italian, an Eclisse.

The two side rings emit a soft light diffused by a special alabaster material with characteristic veining similar to that of marble. Both light sources can be controlled separately and the current is led through coaxial suspension cables without any power cable, guaranteeing the maximum neatness of form.

Lead times are usually 2-4 weeks, although they can be longer over public holidays. Bulbs & installation are not included. Delivery throughout the mainland UK is by specialist courier, although we can also deliver this with any furniture you have ordered if preferred.
