This is the Molteni & C Barbican dining chair with armrests designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Italian designer furniture brand Molteni. Part of the extensive Barbican collection, a series of comfortable chairs suitable for all types of interiors.

The rigid polyurethane frame has a built-in padded seat and a backrest shell, both have fully removable covers which can be selected in any of the fabrics and leathers from the Molteni & C collection. You can choose to have the two parts in matching materials, or alternatively, you can select different materials to highlight the enveloping shape of the chair.

For the chair base there are several options to choose from: wood, or metal, in three styles. The wooden base with linked curves is a perfect match for important tables. The metal one, with its modern design, is perfect both around a table, or used with desks or console tables in a home office. The tubular one is light and airy, ideal for contract projects where sturdiness and practicality are of primary importance.

Also available without armrests, there is another version in bonded hide leather (non-removable covers) with carefully and lovingly fashioned details. As there are so many different options, for ease we have priced here the Barbican chair with armrests with a tubular metal base and the same materials for both the seat and backrest shell.

Colours & Finishes

Base in either metal or wood. Tubular metal chair base in pewter or iris. Die-cast aluminium base in pewter or zinc. Swivel base in die-cast alumiunium in either glossy pewter or shiny aluminium. Wood base chairs in solid wood stained in eucalyptus, grey oak, or black oak.

Removable covers in fabric or leather from the Molteni & C collection, or in customer’s own fabric, subject to approval of fabric type by Molteni. Samples of all Molteni's fabrics and leathers are available to see at our showroom, or we can send specific fabric samples to you on request.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.
