This modern suspended bookcase, the Molteni & C D.355 shelving unit, has been redesigned several times over the years. Available in two sizes it has useful dividers similar to those used on the D.357 bookcase.

Originally designed by Giovanni Ponti, the great Twentieth century architect and designer for his private house in Via Dezza in Milan. This re-edition is part of the Molteni&C Gio Ponti Collection and is produced based on the original drawings from the Gio Ponti Archives.

Made from shaped multi-layered material with elm veneer and a combination of two finishes; part natural transparent finish and part hand-painted in white.

Every piece in the Gio Ponti collection complies with the design and materials in the original Gio Ponti documents and each piece in the collection carries a serial number and a screen-printed signature of the famous architect as a guarantee of its origin and authenticity.

Please Note: This product needs to be fixed to the wall - not included in delivery. Usually it is better to use a structural/load bearing wall although with extra fixings an internal wall might be suitable. If you would like us to wall mount this for you (an extra cost) please discuss before ordering as we cannot provide this service everywhere

We deliver throughout the UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.

For larger items please check access prior to delivery. If access is via a lift or stairs please check dimensions carefully. We cannot accept returns if access is not possible. We reserve the right to add a delivery surcharge, for example where access takes longer than normal, requires more than 2 people, or where a crane/hoist is required.
