The Molteni & C D.555.1 coffee table is part of Italian furniture brand Molteni & C's Gio Ponti Collection, an exciting project to re-issue furniture created by Giovanni Ponti, the great Twentieth century architect and designer.

Created for Gio Ponti‚Äôs house, located in via Dezza in Milan, this small table D.555.1, was originally designed in 1954-1955, and is now produced by Molteni&C based on the original drawings from the Ponti archives. The table top is in transparent extralight glass and the striking steel grid is hand painted in several colours.

Every piece in the Gio Ponti collection carries a serial number and a screen-printed signature of the famous architect as a guarantee of its origin and authenticity.

Colours & Finishes

The parts of the metal grid are hand painted in different colours like the original design. The top is made of transparent extralight 5mm tempered glass.

We deliver throughout the entire UK & our delivery teams are always white glove, two man deliveries made in two or three hour time slots. Our delivery teams will contact you before finalising a delivery slot, & will offer you an alternative date if needed.

Delivery is to the room of your choice, & includes assembly, unpacking & removal of packaging - although please check your order carefully before our delivery team leave as in the unlikely event of a problem we may need to return an item to the factory & will need the original packaging to do so.

For larger/very heavy items please check access/dimensions when you order, & let us know if there is a lift/stairs. If we have notice we can arrange an additional delivery team, or even a crane/hoist - both an extra cost, but will charge for deliveries not made due to access restrictions.
