The Molteni MHC.3 Miss dining chair was originally designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa in 1986. For this exciting re-issue Tobia Scarpa has re-designed the armrest joint to make the chair comfier and more linear. Made in Italy by modern furniture brand Molteni & C.
Featuring a soft, unbroken, linear shape with slim legs which are divaricated to ensure stability. The front ones are bent to form the armrests and continue into the curve of the backrest. The back legs reach the backrest from behind, underpinning it. The seat is inserted between the lines and links them.
This solid wood chair is available in two finishes, natural ash or black stained ash.
For the seat you can either choose to have it handwoven in ecru or grey papercord, or you can have it upholstered in fabric or leather from the huge Molteni & C collection, not all of which can be shown here. For more information, please contact our design team who can send samples and discuss all the options with you in more detail. You can also provide your own fabric subject to approval by Molteni.
The images show the Miss chair matched with the Gio Ponti dining table and the Note desk, both of which can be seen in the related products below.
