A testament to rigorous research and development, the Card bookcase focuses on intricate details, with each element crafted to perfection. Made in black oak, this freestanding structure houses authentic technological marvels, including satin brass finish joints that elegantly connect the horizontal planes to the vertical uprights.
Material juxtaposition is a hallmark of Michael Anastassiades’ design philosophy, evident in this bookcase through the inclusion of a Sahara noir marble top or shelf. Card is an elegant free-standing unit which is available in four sizes. The smallest is an open cabinet just 73.5cm wide which would be perfect as bedside table, the next size up is a 193.5cm long low-level piece which could be used as a practical TV stand. The two larger sizes will make excellent bookcases or open fronted storage units as one has two levels of shelving and the other has three as seen here in these images.
The two smaller sizes have a Sahara Noir marble shelf whilst the larger two sizes have an internal shelf in Sahara Noir marble.
