The Porada Koster console by S. Tollgard & F. Castellani has been specifically designed to be placed behind, or next to your sofa.
Part of the Koster collection, the inspiration for the range came from the thousands of islands that make up the Stockholm Archipelago where Tollgard was born and raised. The tables emerged from the idea of encasing a precious material and enfolding it in a wrapper. Each piece thus expresses elements of the Swedish Archipelago, islands that are wrapped by rocks and surrounded by sea.
Combining exceptional quality and attention to detail, Koster has two useful shelves and is made from solid frassino ash which can be left in natural wood, stained in several finishes, or matt lacquered in a range of colours. The metal frame is in bronzoro with feet ends in brushed bronzed brass.
It is also possible to choose the top shelf in Rock which is a new laminated porcelain which is created by wet-grinding clay, granite, and metamorphic rock together with ceramic pigments. The result is an incredibly hard-wearing compacted finish which is colour and shine proof, as well as stain resistant to coffee, wine, oil, and lemon.
